We know buying a ride-on is a big decision, so we've answered every question we could think of right here.

General

What age range are your ride-on cars suitable for?

Our ride-on cars are designed for children aged 1–8 years old.

Are your ride-ons safe?

Absolutely. Every ride-on we sell is ASTM F963 certified, the gold standard for toy safety in the United States. Each vehicle goes through a safety inspection and battery test before it leaves our fulfillment center. Your child's safety is the foundation everything else is built on.

Do your ride-ons come with a parental remote?

Yes. Every model comes with a 2.4G parental remote control included in the box, so you stay in control until your little one is ready to take the wheel themselves.

How long does the battery last and how long does it take to charge?

Most models offer up to 2 hours of ride time on a full charge. Charging typically takes 8–12 hours. We recommend charging overnight before first use.

Where is Kids Rider based?

We are a proudly American company. Our team is based in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, and all orders are fulfilled from US-based fulfillment centers, so your ride-on ships domestically every time.

Shipping

How much does shipping cost?

Nothing. Shipping is completely free on every order to the contiguous United States, no minimum spend, no oversized item fees, no handling surcharges. The price you see on the product page is the price you pay at checkout, excluding applicable sales tax.

How long will my order take to arrive?

Once you place your order, please allow 1–2 business days for handling — this includes a safety inspection and battery test before your ride-on is dispatched. Transit then takes 5–8 business days. Your total delivery window is 6–10 business days from the date of your order.

Do you ship to PO Boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or internationally?

Not at this time. Due to carrier size restrictions for motorised ride-on vehicles, we currently ship to physical addresses within the contiguous United States only. We are unable to ship to PO Boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or international destinations.

My order arrived damaged. What do I do?

If your package arrives with visible damage, please photograph the box immediately and contact our team within 48 hours of delivery. Every shipment is fully insured and we will take care of it straight away. Reach us at customercare@kidsrider.com or call +1 (213) 376-5690.

Returns

What is your return window?

You have 15 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return or exchange. To get the process started, simply contact our team within that window with your order number and photos of the box.

How do I start a return?

Email us at customercare@kidsrider.com or call +1 (213) 376-5690 with your order number and photos of the packaging. Our team will guide you through the process and provide a pre-paid return label at no cost to you.

Do you charge restocking fees or return shipping costs?

Never. We offer completely free returns with a pre-paid label provided by us — and there are zero restocking fees. If the item arrived defective or damaged, we cover 100% of the return shipping. If you simply changed your mind, we still cover it. No catches.

What condition does the item need to be in to qualify for a return?

To be eligible, the vehicle must be in its original unassembled condition — or lightly tested on a clean indoor surface. All original accessories must be included: the remote control, charger, manuals, and hardware kit. The item must also be returned in its original factory box with all protective foam packaging intact, as we are unable to accept returns in non-standard packaging.

How long does my refund take?

Once your return reaches our fulfillment center, allow 2–3 business days for a technical inspection. Once approved, your refund is processed back to your original payment method. Most banks reflect the credit within 3–5 business days after that. If you would prefer an exchange for a different model or colour, we will dispatch the replacement as soon as the original item has been scanned into the carrier's network.
