Limited Warranty Policy
Last Updated: March 1, 2026
At KidsRider, we stand behind the engineering of our motorized vehicles. We provide a comprehensive limited warranty to ensure your child’s ride-on remains in peak performing condition.
1. 6-Month Manufacturer’s Warranty
All new vehicles purchased directly from KidsRider.com come with a six (6) month limited warranty against manufacturing defects, commencing from the date of delivery. This warranty is in addition to any rights you may have under U.S. federal and state consumer protection laws.
2. What is Covered?
This warranty covers factory-related defects in:
-
Electrical Systems: Motors, wiring harnesses, and control modules (motherboards).
-
Structural Components: Frame integrity and steering mechanisms.
-
Accessories: Remote controls and sound systems.
-
Batteries: Batteries are covered for a period of 90 days due to the nature of consumable power cells (proper charging maintenance is required).
3. What is NOT Covered?
This warranty is a "Defect Warranty" and does not cover damage resulting from:
-
Misuse: Overloading the weight limit or professional/commercial use.
-
Environmental Damage: Exposure to rain, water submersion, or extreme heat.
-
Wear and Tear: Tires, seat upholstery, and cosmetic scratches from regular play.
-
Unauthorized Modification: Any alteration to the speed controller or battery voltage.
4. U.S. Consumer Rights
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act and applicable California Consumer Laws. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
5. Lodging a Warranty Claim
To initiate a claim, please follow our clinical diagnostic process:
-
Notification: Contact customercare@kidsrider.com within the Warranty Period with your order number and a video/photo of the issue.
-
Remote Troubleshooting: Our technicians will first attempt to resolve the issue via remote diagnostics to save you shipping time.
-
Parts Replacement: If a specific part is found defective (e.g., a motor or gear), KidsRider will ship the replacement part to you free of charge.
-
Vehicle Return: If the issue cannot be resolved via parts, you may return the vehicle to our California service center for repair or replacement. Customers are responsible for the initial shipping cost to our center; if a manufacturer defect is confirmed, KidsRider will cover the return shipping of the repaired/replaced unit back to you.
